Pinocchio di Guillermo del Toro è stato il grande film vincitore degli Annie Awards. gli Oscar dell’animazione, che sono stati assegnati sabato sera alla Royce Hall dell’UCLA. Il film in stop-motion è arrivato con ben nove nomination e ha ottenuto cinque premi, tra cui Miglior film e regia. Guillermo del Toro afferma che la “bellezza artigianale” della stop-motion era l’unico modo per realizzare “Pinocchio“.
