Oscar: l’Italia non sarà in corsa per il Miglior film internazionale

L’Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences ha svelato i suoi finalisti per gli Oscar 2023 in 10 categorie, tra cui documentari e lungometraggi internazionali, nonché cortometraggio documentario, trucco e acconciatura, colonna sonora originale, canzone originale, cortometraggio animato, cortometraggio live-action, effetti sonori e visivi. Sono passati quindici lungometraggi internazionali, tra i film di 92 paesi e regioni ammissibili. L’elenco include Close (Belgio), Decision to Leave (Corea del Sud), All Quiet on the Western Front (Germania), Bardo di Alejandro G. Iñárritu (Messico) e Joyland, che dà al Pakistan il suo primo film selezionato nella categoria. Spicca l’assenza dell’Italia agli Oscar per il Miglior Film Internazionale.

La votazione per le nomination va dal 12 al 17 gennaio e le nomination saranno annunciate il 24 gennaio. La 95a edizione degli Oscar si terrà il 12 marzo al Dolby Theatre di Hollywood.
